Cottage Overview:Little Blue is run by generator and propane which means that there aren't things like TV, VCR, and microwave for some. If you are looking for an amazing experience offering you complete privacy, your own lake, nature at it's best, 200 acres of bush to explore and just a natural relaxing vacation than this is the spot for you!!When you arrive at the cottage someone will be there to check you in and show you how everything runs. Our cleaners will have run the generator and charged the battery so it will be ready for you. As you run the water ( flush the toilets, do the dishes, have a shower, etc...) the batteries charge will gradually go down and you will have to start the generator and run it until fully charged again. This doesn't take long before you have a fully charged battery again. The lights, the fridge and the stove all run off of propane which doesn't have anything to do with the generator. You cannot leave the propane lights on over night, we would suggest a flashlight or a battery operated Coleman light for camping and to leave on at night if needed. This cottage is on it's own small private lake and is a great lake for canoeing, rowing the row boat around, swimming or just sunning on the dock. There is a trail to the left of the property if you canoe over pull it up on shore and start walking that will take you to Loon Lake. There is a huge sandy beach with a gradual entrance, perfect for children. This cottage is absolutely amazing and the property is one like you have never seen before!! Once you take the drive down that driveway and you see it for the first time it takes your breath away!! I can guarantee you that staying at this cottage for a week will be an experience that will be close to your heart forever...
