Cottage Overview:Harris Lake Hideaway ( http://www.harrislakehideaway.com ) is lovely little Cape Cod Style bungalow in the heart of the Muskokas, only 2 hours north, and all highway driving. It can sleep 12 comfortably: 8 adults and 4 kids, and is dog friendly. It has a huge campfire, large enough for all of you, 100 feet of shoreline, and the best sunsets in the north. There's an acre of land to have fun with, and a huge rock to climb if your kids like climbing things.
There are 3 bedrooms and two extra double beds in the main living room. It's not an enormous place, but it is very functional. 12+ can dine at the table, as it is big. There are 3 tv's and dvd players. There's an xbox, laundry on site, newer appliances (fridge, stove, microwave, blender, coffee machine, cappuccino machine, washer/dryer) and decor and lovely gardens all around. Bathroom has a full bathtub and shower. There's a wrap around deck with bbq and patio ware. Always a gentle breeze coming off the shoreline and dock, so not many bugs. It's a very tranquil place. And the fishing is incredible in both the summer and winter. Ministry feeds the lake. You've got a lot of different varieties.
There are summer and off season rates. Weekends are available IN LIMITED SUPPLY. July and August are my busiest months. So I typically prefer week rentals only. Now should something come up at the last minute and the week is open, I will consider the 3 or 4 day rental. But they are very few and far between.
And holiday weekends are extra cost. At present the rate for a regular weekend starts at $425.00 plus gst and damage deposit. That's the off-season rate. After May 21st that will increase. Summer weeks start at 1470.00 per week, plus gst. That depends upon occupancy. Book early to avoid disappointment. I get bookings as early as 8 months in advance. FiveStars Reviews: |
