Cottage for Rent - Shadow Lake romantic chalet two hour drive north of Toronto

Located a two-hour drive from downtown Toronto near the village of Norland in Haliburton, o ur three-bedroom chalet-style Cedar View cottage on Shadow Lake is beautiful. It's nicely decorated, with white walls, pine floors, comfortable pine furniture, electric heating, large sun deck, fireplace, whirlpool bath, DVD, VCR and is surrounded by lots of glass so it's bright and cheery. The living room patio door opens to a large front deck overlooking a landscaped lot and natural shoreline. It has a Hollywood-style, fully quipped kitchen, two bedrooms upstairs (with a queen and double bed) plus a bedroom on the main floor with a double bed.  Cedar View has it's own private 170' water frontage with sandy beach and safe shallow water for kids or a deeper section with a swimming raft for adults. The lot is nicely landscaped and has a 30' reflecting pond and a dense treed area, which separates my two properties.  It comes with a canoe and aluminum fishing boat. There' a fire pit, wooden picnic table, lawn chairs with lots of shade or for most of the day sun if you wish.  You have to bring your personal linens, life jackets, food, fishing rods and promise to leave cottage spotlessly clean on your departure at 12 noon on Saturday.  Price for a week during the summer is $950 total.  We also rent by the day at $100 per day with a minimum three-day rental.
